027 * Best Summer Ever
D.J makes Jackson attend summer school to improve his grade in history class, where he meet bad girl Rocki. Steve and C.J make a surprise announcement that they're getting married in Japan. Jimmy has a hard time trying to find somewhere to park his RV. Fernando is keeping a secret from Kimmy - that he's bought back the old Gibbler house.

Ramona goes to great lengths to hide a hickey on her neck from Popko, as she doesn't want her mom to see it. She asks Stephanie to keep quiet about it, so Stephanie comes to the rescue to hide it with makeup. Fernando has a hard time adjusting to his new living situation. And while Steve samples wedding cakes, Jackson's study group takes over the house.

While the ladies have plans outside the house for the evening, Uncle Jesse is left in charge of all the youngsters for the night. Things goes awry, and he ends up putting out fires left and right, including a botched perm. Fernando restores Kimmy's childhood home into an exact replica, which D.J, Stephanie and Kimmy visit over a weird dinner involving a ghost.

When Jackson gushes over a bird that flew into a window, D.J gets the feeling that there's another veterinarian in the family and is thrilled when Jackson agrees to shadow her at the office. Fernando and Kimmy fight over Ramona. Meanwhile Max freaks when Tommy destroys his beloved stuffed unicorn Uni.

During karaoke, D.J and Steve sing 'Summer Nights' together, which makes Matt and C.J uncomfortable. Rocki comes over to study with Jackson and spend the night. D.J gets caught up in the moment while trying a wedding dress on while Steve gets fitted for his tux. Stephanie feels left out when she's not invited to a movie premier that features one of her songs.

Becky shows up to spend the day with Stephanie, and has made an appointment for Stephanie to get a pelvic ultrasound. Joey shows up with his children, who are little terrors all over the house. D.J quizzes Jackson on History then talks to his teacher when he bombs the test.

In Japan, Steve and C.J's wedding dishes up one disaster after another. Matt proposes to D.J, to which she says yes as Steve watches the moment from behind some bushes. Ramona falls in love with Marius Yo of the Japanese boy band Sexy Zone, who saves her from being hit by a motorcycle and invites her to his show.

D.J doesn't know what's going on between her and Steve, so for now she's single. Ramona gets into the San Francisco School of the Performing Arts. Stephanie starts taking hormone shots. D.J, Max and Jackson go to Mighty Mountain to ride the Troller Coaster. Ramona has second thoughts about going to dance school. Steve and D.J decide to wait a month before dating.

It's the first day of high school for Jackson and Ramona. Stephanie and Jimmy visit the fertility clinic in hopes of making an embryo. Lola moves to Fresno. Ramona tries out for the school's dance team, but team captain, Chad, cuts her for showing him up. Matt returns from a eight-day vacation in Bora Bora and says he's moving to the islands.

D.J tries to get Tommy into a prestigious preschool. Due to a school project, Ramona and Jackson cannot use any tech devices for a day. Stephanie is on Max duty as he's sick, though he tries to sneak off to school to present a project. The preschool interviewer suggests that Tommy should see a speech specialist.

Stephanie and Jimmy begin their search for a surrogate, with several failed attempts. Jackson's newfound rebellion phase pushes all of D.J's buttons. Ramona learns about her ancestry. Kimmy starts to embrace her newly discovered French heritage and Fernando with his Jewish heritage. It is revealed that Kimmy is going to be the surrugate.

Stephanie and Kimmy try to bond and connect over the pregnancy, while D.J has a 'diddily' day. Max and Jackson break the classic statue in the living room, and get Ramona to help with the repairs. Fernando buys Tommy a new big boy race-car bed.

Kimmy gets the embryos implanted. Ramona is planning the homecoming dance, and Jackson wants to ask Rocki to the dance, while Kimmy has to plan a birthday party for Dakota, a demanding 10-year-old. The homecoming dance is dead, so Kimmy, D.J and Stephanie come to the rescue. They use the decorations from Dakota's party and Girl Talk performs.

Danny, Jesse and Joey are all coming to town to celebrate their 30th Dadiversary. D.J prepares for her third first date with Steve. Jackson and Rocki start making out, only to be interrupted by Ramona. After having an ominous dream, Stephanie worries Kimmy will realize she's not pregnant. Due to fog D.J and Steve have their date at the house.

After bad news Danny, Jesse and Joey try to cheer themselves up. Steve is offered a job with the Lakers. Becky get her own talk show called 'The Gab', while Jesse and Joey buy back the Smash Club. Danny's his ex-fiancée, Vicky Larson, drops by. Danny, Jesse, Becky, and Joey all announce that they are moving back. Kimmy announces that she's pregnant.
