About The Show

'Fuller House' is a spin-off series based on the hit ABC family sitcom 'Full House' (1987-1995) once again created and executive produced by Jeff Franklin exclusively for Netflix. On February 26, 2016, the first season of Fuller House became available for streaming on Netflix, and already on March 2nd the series was renewed for it's second season, which became available to stream on Netflix on December 9th, 2016. The series then lasted another three seasons, concluding on June 2nd, 2020, with 5 seasons total having been made of the popular family show, so go binge-watch the entire series if you haven't already.

Like the original series, the show is set in the very same house in San Francisco, California. Only this time around the plot centers on the recently widowed D.J. Tanner-Fuller who is a now a veterinarian and mother of three sons; 13-year-old Jackson, 7-year-old Max, and newborn baby Tommy Jr. After the unforeseen abrupt death of her husband, Tommy, who was following his hazardous duties as a firefighter, D.J realizes she is unable to cope with the all of the demands of holding a full time job as a veterinarian in addition to the struggles of raising her three young boys on her own. She then accepts the help of her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy Gibbler to move in and take part in raising her three sons. Kimmy's sassy 13-year-old daughter Ramona also moves into the Tanner-Fuller house. We also get to know other characters such as Kimmy's ex-husband Fernando, who's an Argentinian professional race-car driver, Ramonas best friend Lola, Jackson's cocky friend Bobby Popko, D.J's co-worker and love interest, Dr. Matt Harmon, Kimmy's goofy and sweet brother Jimmy who quickly becomes a love interest to Stephanie, and Steve's new girlfriend/fiancé C.J Harbenberger and her daughter Rose to name a few.
Most of the original cast make appearances throughout the series along with their own storylines.
